Selecting the appropriate Kindergarten environment is important. Our comprehensive program gives each child the opportunity to learn from a variety of developmentally appropriate materials and equipment.
This classroom focuses on children who attend Springboro public Kindergarten in either the morning or afternoon by offering an enhancement to their school program. This program also caters to those children who are 5 years of age, but who are not yet attending Kindergarten.
Our child care center uses the Tadpoles Program to send daily e-mail sheets/updates and pictures to parents and/or grandparents. We use iPads in the classroom to not only assist in the daily activities, meals and other items for your child, but we utilize them for assessments for each child Infant through Kindergarten.
At the end of each day, you will receive an email with your child’s information, and perhaps some pictures as well. This new program is a time-saver for all, putting a lot of information into one quick email-reducing extra papers going home each day. It is reassuring to parents when they see a picture of their child’s day, knowing they are safe and well-cared for.
We believe that each child should learn at his or her own pace. Kindergarten encourages open-ended exploration, discovery and investigation. The curriculum is designed to enhance each child’s self-confidence and to build each child’s self-esteem. It gives the children the opportunity for optimum growth in academics, socialization, physical fitness and emotional well-being.
